All meals and puddings are hand-made using traditional cooking methods and only the finest ingredients, many supplied locally.

NO ADDED PRESERVATIVES
Meals are preserved naturally by freezing them.

There are no nasty extras added to core ingredients to make them last longer.

main courses

Vegetable Lasagne (v):
Layers of rich vegetable and tomato sauce lasagne and béchamel sauce, topped with cheddar and parmesan cheese 
                                                
Vegetable Crumble (v):
A delicious mix of seasonal vegetables in a savoury sauce, topped with a crispy savoury crumble 

Spicy Chick-Pea and Aubergine Stew (v)(GF):
A tomato based middle eastern dish.  Serve with couscous or rice, or as a side dish
        
Crispy Mushroom Bake (v):
Tomatoes, onions & mushrooms, layered with breadcrumbs, nuts & seeds – a satisfying supper

Macaroni Cheese (V):
Macaroni in a tasty mixed cheese sauce
        
Moussaka:
Layers of minced lamb, tomato, potato and aubergine, topped with a savoury custard
                 
Beef Lasagne:
Layers of rich minced beef, herbs and tomato sauce, lasagne and béchamel sauce, topped with cheddar and parmesan cheese  

Beef in Beer:
Tender pieces of beef, onions, mushrooms and carrots, slowly braised in beer gravy

Chilli Con Carne:
Minced beef, onions, chillies, tomatoes, red kidney beans – makes this a tasty meal to serve with rice or jacket potatoes

Cottage Pie:
Minced steak, carrots and onion in a tasty gravy, topped with creamy mashed potato – a perennial favourite with all the family           
                 
Fish Pie:
Chunks of white and smoked fish, in a dill seasoned white sauce,  topped with creamy mashed potato

Mediterranean Chicken Hotpot:
Pieces of tender chicken breast with Mediterranean vegetables and butter beans in a spicy tomato sauce

Dauphinoise Potatoes:
Sliced golden potatoes layered with cream and garlic

Cauliflower Cheese:
Chunky florets in smooth béchamel sauce topped with mature cheddar

Ratatouille:
Braised mixed vegetables in a rich tomato sauce

Sticky Toffee Pudding:
A sticky date sponge topped with a rich toffee Sauce – serve with clotted cream or crème fraiche

Sticky Choccy Pudding:
A dark chocolate sponge topped with lashings of chocolate sauce

English Apple Crumble:
A traditional dessert made with English apples.  Other fruits sometimes available.  Serve with custard or cream
